When she was little Shannon went to a Skating Show with her Nana to watch a cousin 

& asked if she could learn to skate!  She was in 1st grade when she started Skating and we are so proud she still continues to skate as a Senior at CNS HighSchool!

 Shannon has competed individually & with CNY Synchronized Skating teams Icicles, Storm & Blizzard for 9 years!  Shannon has passed many Skating tests including Juvenile Freeskate, Intermediate Moves, PreGold Dance and Quickstep Gold Dance.  She is currently working toward her Gold Medal in Ice Dance.  She is a natural beautiful spinner & ice dancer and has enjoyed her friendships and Skating trips throughout the years.  She has won individual & synchro medals at Empire State Games!  She has 3 Silver medals and a Pewter medal from Eastern’s Synchro Competitions.  She has a Gold Medal from State Games of America from her first year on Storm.   

 Shannon plans to attend OCC in the Fall and transfer to SUNY Cortland to pursue a Career as a Speech Therapist.

 Shannon has helped teach LTS and she played Lacrosse for a couple of years playing both attack and defense positions.  Shannon has received the President’s Award for Academic Excellence and earned both Merit and Honor Roll awards in school.

 Shannon is a loyal, compassionate friend and daughter.  She adores her Bernese Mt Dog puppy and loves to be on the go with her friends.  She has found Skating Club of CNY to be like a 2nd home and Lake Placid to be a favorite destination with so many great memories!  

 We hope she continues to skate and maybe someday teach skating or bring her kids to skate.
