Carolyn Quinn
Our head coach, Carolyn Quinn, has over 30 years of coaching experience in all disciplines of skating. She has coached synchronized skating for more than 20 years including 5 years for Oswego State and 2 years for Syracuse University. She is the co-director of the Skating Club of Central New York’s Learn to Skate Program and the current head coach for all SCCNY travel synchronized skating teams. She is married and has two daughters.
Amanda Lattimore
Our head coach, Amanda Lattimore, grew up in Central New York and was a member of several skating clubs. She is a USFS Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field and participated on synchronized skating teams around the area for nine years, competing in divisions from pre-juvenile to intermediate. Amanda represented SUNY Oswego in the collegiate and Open-Collegiate divisions for four years. As a member of the Oswego State Ice Effects, she was a 2014 National Competitor, 2015 Eastern Sectional Silver medalist and 2016 Eastern Sectional Champion.
Alexis Quinn
Our assistant coach, Alexis Quinn, is a lifelong member of the Skating Club of CNY where she skated synchro since the age of 7 and earned three USFS Gold Medals. Alexis represented the University of Delaware SST, where she competed at the National level for three seasons. She was President her senior year. Lexi is currently working on her Master’s in Public Health at SUNY Upstate.
Kat Martin
Our assistant coach, Kat Martin, is a lifelong member of the Skating Club of CNY where she skated synchro since the age of 7 and earned her Gold Medal in Skating Skills. Kat is a staff coach and Learn to Skate instructor. She works for Martin Customs Homes. .
